Warrington-based Arley Homes is celebrating following the announcement that site manager Bill Wilson has been awarded a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job (PIJ) Quality Award.
The PIJ was awarded for Bill’s outstanding work at The Coppice, a stunning development of 5 five-bedroom family homes in the picturesque village of Rainford. Bill outshone more than 18,000 site managers across the UK to win one of just 400 of the prestigious awards.
The meticulous judging for the PIJ awards is carried out by NHBC over the period of a year and involves regular spot-checks on the day to day running of the site. The judges assess each site manager across 38 different areas of site management, including consistency in the build process, leadership skills, technical expertise, health and safety controls, as well as the overall standard of workmanship and finish of the homes.
Ian Davies, NHBC regional director for the North West commented: “Bill has done exceptionally well as only site managers who demonstrate consistently high standards during the rigorous NHBC judging process are awarded a Pride in the Job Quality Award.”
